The Photo Archive is housed on Flickr. Please read the information below about how to use the Photo Archive, before you click on the link below.
- The Photo Archive is arranged by Albums in Flickr.
- There are over 3,000 photos arranged in 38 Albums, by topic and year, such as for example: Sudan, Gondar 1984, Gondar 1988 (and other years), Addis Ababa (several years), Unknown, Israel General, Israel Advocacy, Historical Figures (such as Jacques Faitlovitch and Tamrat Emanuel), U.S. Advocacy, Beta Israel Heros and Leaders (each with his own Album - such as Baruch Tegegne, Ferede Aklum, Rachamim Elazar) and many other Albums. Some of the albums are organized by photographer, if the photographer was a respected professional such as Joan Roth or Tzachi Ostrovsky.
- The Albums are searchable by tags or keywords in English.
- When you see a photo of a person or people you recognize, and the name(s) are not on the photo, please write their names and the place of the photo (if you know it) and the year (if you know it) in the Comments Field below the photograph. The website manager will then add the information to the caption of the photo. If you know more about the people or place in the photo, feel free to add the story to the Comments Field. The more information about each photo, the better! This will build a full and accurate pictorial history of the community.
